Supporting two brand activations at one of the world’s most popular races
480,000 F1 fans, VIPs, and top-tier athletes flocked to experience the British Grand Prix this year. The 80six team, led by Project Manager Ben Annibal, provided bespoke video solutions for two standout areas.
THE CHALLENGE
Elevating the F1 British Grand Prix hospitality experience is no small feat. Still, our client Creation Group set to bring a fresh perspective, creating a flagship hospitality concept as a multi-dimensional experience, fusing sport, hospitality, entertainment, and sustainability.
THE SOLUTION
Enter the Red Bull Pole Position experience. Located on Silverstone Circuit's start and finish line, the Red Bull Pole Position featured a multi-use experience area, including a rooftop skatepark, terrace bar, clothing shop, and nightclub.
Working for Creation Group, we installed a stunning 5m x 2.5m ROE Visual Diamond 2.6 LED display in the nightclub area, where Rudimental and TSHA provided the tunes and performed live on Sky Sports. F1 superstar drivers such as Max Verstappen, Daniel Ricciardo and Christian Horner visited the Red Bull Pole Position for daily talks, answering some all-important F1 questions.
Some of the after-hours celebrations shifted to the Silverstone Hilton's rooftop terrace— F1's exclusive vantage point.
On this VIP event, we worked with Production Point, and built two expansive LED displays using our premium outdoor product, ROE Visual Carbon 5mm, operated on Brompton Tessera SX40 4K LED Processor.
